કેમ છો મિત્રો?
હું મેહુલ શાહ, સિડનીથી ! મારી સ્કૂલ શેઠ સી.એન. વિદ્યાલય, અમદાવાદ નાં પ્રાર્થનામંદિરમાં ગવાયેલા ગીતોને રજૂ કરવાનો મારો પ્રયાસ છે.
આ બ્લોગમાં હું આપની સમક્ષ આપણા પ્રાર્થનામંદિરમાં ગવાતાં અને ભૂલાઇ ગયેલા ગીતો લાવી રહ્યો છું. તમને પણ આ અભિયાનમાં ભાગ લેવા માટે આમંત્રણ છે.

એક સાથે અનેક ગુજરાતી બ્લોગ્સને જોઈને ખુબ સંતોષ અને આનંદ થાય છે. આ બધું તો માતૃભાષાને નીમીત્તે આપણા સૌની એક સાંકળ બનાવનારું બની રહ્યું છે એવું માનવા સહેજે મન થાય.
NET-ગુર્જરી મેગેઝીન શરુ કરતાં પહેલાંથી જ મનમાં થયાં કરતું હતું કે આ બધા બ્લોગ્સ પર કાર્ય કરી રહેલાં ગુજરાતીઓને એક પછી એક મળીને તેમના બ્લોગ અંગેની વધારાની બાબતો મેળવવી અને સૌ સમક્ષ રજુ કરવી, જેથી તેઓને પોતાના બ્લોગ અંગે શું શું અભીપ્રેત છે તે જાણી શકાય અને કેટલીક એવી બાબતો પણ હોય જેને પ્રગટ કરવામાં તેઓ આત્મશ્લાઘા લાગવાનો સંકોચ અનુભવતા હોય તો તેમના વતી તેમના મનમાં પડેલી ભાવનાઓને પ્રગટ કરવી.
આજે આપની સમક્ષ આ અંગે રજુઆત કરી રહ્યો છું. આપને યોગ્ય લાગે તો મને આપના બ્લોગને શરુ કરવા પાછળના હેતુથી માંડીને આજ દીવસ સુધીના મહત્વના જે અનુભવો થયા હોય કે હવે પછીના કોઈ ખાસ પ્લાનીંગ હોય તો એ અમને જણાવો..બીજી રીતે કહું તો આપના વતી જે કોઈ મહત્વની બાબત અમે કહી શકીએ એવું આપને લાગતું હોય તો એ અમને ઈ-મેઈલ દ્વારા મોકલી આપો..

hi’ i did not studied in cn still i have a lot memmories of the same.
if u recall my sister divya sheth used to sing the prayers in prathna mandir i think in 1973-1979. my father arvind sheth was deeply attached with zinadada in those days .
he has composed more than 300 children songs and kavita and one of the most popular among them is ” aaha aavun vacation, juo rajani maja’ remember?
i would happily share your feelings towards gujarati songs and can send you on your requeste.

Seldom I had expressed my feelings for all that I got without too much of efforts - no matter how much I might have paid for it, had I knew about it.
So self-centred, montonous and commercial the life had beeen that I had perhaps ceased to humane.
Couple of weeks before I wrote to Ayn Rand Institute - whose novel “Fountain Head” I liked a lot before many year. And to Times Music releasing Audio CD of Meera by Pt. Ravishankar. Now to you.

” Vidyavihar Geeto” with advice from Bhailalbhai, produced by me in January, 2000 is posted on the Blog.
The cassettes were produced under the Music Direction of Gaurang Vyas and with Arti Munshi, Pranav Mehta of Intel USA, Vibhaben Desai, Mrudulaben Parikh as the lead singers - when Bhailalbhai was present throughout the recordings.

khub khub dhanyavad! Tame nanpan ni ghani yaado taji karavi didhi. When i look back, i realize that what great values we have been taught in young age. At that time, we were singing many songs without knowing deep meanings and now the same songs are surprisingly talking to us!! Now, they are like a treasure of knowledge, wisdom and peace. Grateful to those people who wrote, composed, sung and made us sing those songs in Prarthana mandir!
